My work focuses on connecting and uplifting communities, investigating policy to understand how it affects everyday people, advancing technology, and the ethical and societal ramifications of any major decision.

My background in the military – along with the many roles I've taken on – shapes how I approach storytelling. It allows me to engage with nuance, ask better questions, and approach each story with curiosity and care.

For me, journalism is a way to ensure my sisters and brothers in the community are informed, listened to, understood – and that no one feels alone in the stories that shape their lives.
